| As 2025 comes to a close, we want to give an enormous thank you to our tenants. Your energy, ideas, and commitment have been the driving force behind everything we’ve achieved.
We started the year with a big ambition: to create Friends of Sustain, a place where your voices truly lead the way. You stepped up, got involved, and helped shape the direction of our Tenant Engagement Strategy from day one.
Thanks to your dedication, Friends of Sustain launched this spring and is already transforming how we listen, learn, and grow together.
You’ve made Sustain stronger, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

| | Leather Making Workshop – A Fantastic Success! | | |

On 19 November, we welcomed tenants to the beautiful St Barnabas Church Hall for an inspiring Leather Making Workshop. Led by Nick Wilkinson, owner and founder of Mental Fortitude, tenants learned step-by-step how to craft their very own leather keyring from scratch.
Each participant used a stitching clamp and received all the materials needed to create their item. The session was hands-on, creative, and incredibly enjoyable, and the results were fantastic! The workshop was such a success that many tenants are already excited for the next session, where they’ll build on their skills and explore more advanced leather-craft techniques.
To make the experience even more special, everyone had the chance to personalise their finished keyring with laser-engraved details, creating a unique keepsake to take home. If you missed this workshop, don’t worry, more creative sessions are coming soon! We’d love to see even more tenants joining us, learning new skills, and enjoying these fun community events together |

| | 💚Become a Friend of Sustain!💚
There’s still time to join our wonderful Friends of Sustain community and we’d love to welcome you.
Looking for a friendly place to catch up, have a chat, and enjoy a coffee and slice of cake? Our Friends of Sustain Coffee Mornings are the perfect way to stay connected, meet new people, and hear about opportunities that could benefit you. At our last session, we shared information on where to enjoy free or low-cost Christmas meals, and we had a great conversation about how housemates can work together to keep their homes clean, tidy, and welcoming. There were plenty of helpful tips, lots of laughs, and a lovely atmosphere, and we’d love for you to be part of it next time! Our next Coffee Morning will be held on 14 January 2026, and you’re warmly invited to join us. Come along, enjoy a relaxed morning, meet other tenants, and get the latest updates directly from us. While information is always available on the Tenant Portal, becoming a Friend of Sustain means you’ll hear about new projects, support services, and exciting initiatives first, in person, over coffee and cake! Don’t miss out on a chance to connect, chat, and make the most of what’s on offer.

Get ready for a festive celebration to remember, our Christmas Party is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to end the year with a big burst of fun, laughter, and cheer! Join us for an afternoon packed with activities for everyone to enjoy. We’ll have bingo, music, and plenty more surprises to keep the festive spirit going. And of course… Santa himself will be making a special appearance, handing out gifts and spreading Christmas joy!
