We have recently received correspondence from The Leaders Council and are delighted to share this article they have written about Sustain.
“Birmingham-based accommodation provider Sustain UK has been recognised by being shortlisted as a finalist in the Employer of the Year: Gold 50-249 category at The Investors in People Awards 2020.
Sustain UK, founded in 2009, provides a life home for vulnerable adults marginalised in society, including individuals with mental health issues, learning disabilities, forensic backgrounds, drug and alcohol problems and those who are homeless. The organisation operates across Birmingham and in the surrounding areas of the West Midlands.
It is not the first time that Sustain UK has been recognised by Investors in People. The organisation was first awarded investors in people in the year 2008, before winning Investors in People Silver Awards in 2011 and 2014. In 2017, Sustain UK was accredited with the higher Investors in People Gold Award, and then again in November 2019 following successful ISO 19001 Quality and 14001 Environmental Standards audits in 2018.
Sustain UK CEO Pauline Hughes commented: “I am delighted with the positive feedback we have received…and am truly happy that our staff consider working with Sustain UK Limited to be a ‘positive experience’. ”
